In conjunction with the Syttende Mai Celebration, the Edvard Grieg Society sponsored a concert on May 16 in Wayzata, MN featuring the Minneapolis Civic Orchestra, conducted by Cary John Franklin, performing pieces by a variety of Norwegian composers.
