Ashoka Solutions Forum: The Making of Inclusive Economies

Thursday, June 13, 2013
7pm – 9pm

James J. Hill Library:
80 4th St W,
St. Paul, MN 55102

The Ashoka Solutions Forum is a free public event that highlights the work of leading social entrepreneurs with solutions to the problem of financial exclusion, José Quiñonez and Michael Turner. More than half of the world’s working-age population does not have access to the formal system of financial credit – no credit cards, home or auto loans, or money to start a small business. José and Michael demonstrate some of the world’s most innovative solutions that make valuable, affordable, secure, and comprehensive financial services accessible to underserved and excluded communities – stimulating economic growth and contributing to more vibrant and stable financial systems.

The Solutions Forum, Credit for All: The Making of Inclusive Economies, will take place at the James J. Hill Library and is sponsored by the Bush Foundation, Saint Paul Foundation and Minnesota Community Foundation, with a live interview starting at 7:00 pm, followed by a reception.
