We’re surrounded by water and can’t live without it. But our water is sick, and getting sicker every day.
We are fortunate to have three experts knowledgable in the science of water and its quality, both today and in the future, to discuss the impending water crisit with us.
Joining us are:
• Geir Wing Gabrielsen, Ecotoxicology Research Program Leader at the Norwegian Polar Institute
• Dr. John A. Downing, Director of the University of Minnesota Sea Grant College Program; professor in the Department of Biology and Large Lakes Observatory, University of Minnesota Duluth
• Nancy Wallace, Director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Marine Debris Program.
Introducing our topic and providing an overview is Tom Hanson, retired career State Department diplomat.
If you want to learn more about the current state of our water and what can be and is being done about it, join us!
