A hands-on workshop with Norwegian genealogist, Liv Marit Haakenstad.
Participants will begin researching US sources, to find their family's origins in the US, and where they moved from. Haakenstad will then assist participants with sources from Norway to "put the pieces of the puzzle together." Haakenstad will also discuss how to search the "Digital Archive" of searchable and scanned historical documents. Liv Marit Haakenstad is incredibly knowledgable and heartily encourages questions during this workshop.
