Join us for an artist talk with artist Amy Sands about her exhibition, Trådar, on view in the Joan and Walter Mondale Galleri.
Sands will share her experience researching the textiles of two museums in Norway: Osterøy Museum (Lonevåg), and Tekstilindustrimuseet (Salhus). Sands will discuss the research and explain how it was incorporated into her Portal and Bunad series.
Sands will be in the gallery available for questions prior to the program, and afterwards.
