The Bygdelag Special Collections Room (BSCR) in the Haugo Bibliotek is home to Norway House’s collection of Norwegian family history research materials. The collection contains non-circulating books and periodicals owned by both Norway House and the Norwegian-American Bygdelags.

Tuesdays, 1:00pm-3:30pm are open for independent research and walk-in research assistance. Guests are welcome to view items in our collection, use our computer workstations or a personal device, utilize our FamilySearch Affiliate Library access, and receive assistance from our volunteer genealogists.

No appointment necessary. Research assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
