In celebration of Crossings—the bicentennial of Norwegian immigration—Norway House is honored to showcase a selection of works from this cultural exchange between 9 Mile Gallery (Edina, MN) & Galleri Semmingsen (Oslo, Norway), presenting the works of American artists of Norwegian ancestry alongside their Norwegian contemporaries.
Through painting, mixed media, and visual storytelling, their works explore themes of homeland, identity, and cultural memory—bridging the gap between past and present in a deeply personal celebration of cultural heritage. We invite you to witness how the creative spirit, today—two hundred years later—still crosses oceans.
