Nature Instrument specialist Kari Tauring hosts a variety of Nordic musicians who inspire dancing within the community. She kicks off the evening with a song for schottische!

October 16th Features Art Bjorngjeld! This music was passed down through Art's family and he shares it broadly throughout the Midwest and Scandinavia. You may have seen him on Prairie PBS when they visited the Norwegian dance group Det Norske Folkedanslaget in 2019. Art leads the dance band Button Boxers, favorites at Nordic Dance evenings at Tapestry Folkdance Center and the Nordic Ball.
