  • Norway House 913 East Franklin Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55404 United States (map)

Learn tablet weaving, a low-tech technique that allows you create intricate woven bands. Weave a bracelet that is worthy of being a gift.

This workshop offers participants an opportunity to learn how to use the cards of tablet weaving to make intricate bands. Create a woven bracelet and finish it with copper findings.

Participants will begin by learning how to warp their tablet weaving patterns and practice weaving a short band. Once they understand the basics and have worked out the muscle memory of weaving, they will weave a bracelet-length of band in their chosen pattern. At the end of the workshop, participants will complete their bracelets with copper findings. With these new skills, participants will be able to create woven bands for a variety of uses, including additional bracelets.

This workshop is aimed at adventurous beginners, or experienced crafters. Alla will support students at whatever level of weaving they bring to the workshop.

A materials fee of $30 is paid directly to the instructor.

Please note: Norway House does not refund tickets. If you can't attend, please consider giving your seat in class to a friend. There is no charge for ticket transfers.
