Saturday Barnehage with Kari: Language fun through Norwegian children's literature

  • Norway House 913 East Franklin Avenue Minneapolis United States (map)

Kari Stern leads a Saturday session of Barnehage, a Norwegian language program for pre-schoolers. Two-to-four year olds and their parents or guardians read, sing, and play in Norwegian. This month’s book is Er Jeg Liten. See what fun activities Kari creates as children learn about the little creature’s adventures.

The price is per family, so if you have more than one two-to-four-year-old in the family, you may all attend for one price.

Kari teaches Barnehage, children's language class in Norwegian, each semester at Norway House. Her special Saturday classes are an opportunity for children in Barnehage to have greater exposure to the language.

If you want your child to learn Norwegian, but were uncertain about how your child would do in classes, the Saturday Barnehage is a wonderful opportunity to see how fun learning a language can be.

$30 a family for general admission/ $25 for Norway House members.

Please note that Norway House not offer refunds. Please be sure you can attend on the day for which you registered.
